Dr. Ardeshir Edward Nadimi

Dr. Ardeshir Edward Nadimi is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and other rare or complex skin cancers. He completed an American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship at the nationally recognized Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, where he received advanced training in Mohs surgery, dermatologic oncology, and complex surgical reconstruction. This rigorous fellowship places him in a direct lineage of surgeons trained in the technique pioneered by Dr. Frederic Mohs. Dr. Nadimi performs 1,500–2,000 Mohs surgeries each year, including challenging and recurrent tumors, and is highly skilled in advanced reconstructive techniques designed to preserve both function and appearance. His clinical expertise is complemented by an academic role as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University, where he contributes to physician education and training. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, contributed to a textbook chapter on advanced skin cancer reconstruction, and presented original research at national dermatology conferences. Dr. Nadimi earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his compassion and commitment to patient-centered care. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and his Dermatology residency at Georgetown University Hospital / Washington Hospital Center. After several years practicing as a full-time Mohs surgeon in Washington, D.C., Dr. Nadimi is excited to return to Southern California and provide expert skin cancer care to the South Bay community. His treatment philosophy centers on careful listening, clear communication, and partnering with patients to create thoughtful, individualized care plans. He is fluent in Spanish and Persian (Farsi). Outside of the office, Dr. Nadimi enjoys staying active with tennis and basketball, spending time outdoors, weight training, hiking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
